Simple format for rules

Deposit
1 Every team has to give a deposit of S$50.
2 The deposit will be refunded to the team after the season end.
3 Deposit will be confiscated, if team decided to withdraw during the season without reason.

Team
1 Each team is allowed to have one reserve player.
2 Men, mix and ladies double are welcome.(intermediate players and above)

Neutral*
1 Every team has to perform 8 neutral during the season, as to maintain a fair call during the match.
2 Teams can look into the fixture for their neutral schedule.
3 Neutral are to
book courts(one hour should be enough) for match.
provide shuttles(RSL-gold tube, PT-10, YONEX AS30 are recommanded) for the match
be the umpire for the match.
send the result to the league ic for tabulation.

Match
1 A match consists of the best of 3 games of 21 points each.
2 Neutral will make the final decision, if the is any dispute.
3 Winning team will be getting 3 points.
4 Losing team get 1 point.
5 Team that walk away without notification, no point will be awarded.
6 Amendment of match's date can be made to the ic with 2 days notice.

Others
1 The champion team will get a trophy(all teams will chip in, except the champion team)
2 There wil be a end season dinner for all teams and preenting of trophy to the champion team
too.

*( may be very discouraging for interested players, but we are a non profit organisation. Therfore, I hope player will understand)

Badminton Doubles Champions League


IMPORTANT NOTES

1.Registration closing date: 30 Jan 09

2.Submit completed forms and payment to Sam (97856780)

3.Each team is allowed one reserve member in the double's team.(optional)

4.Each team is to pay a deposit of S$50.(will return the deosit, in the end of the season)

Badminton Doubles Champions League

1.Title
1.1This League shall be called the Badminton Doubles Champions League 2009

2.Oraganiser & Sponsor
2.1This league is oraganised by Sam, and sponsor by yourself. Haha.

3.Period of League Season
3.1The league shall commence on 7 Feb 2009(Sat)

4.Ojective
4.1It's to play with better players as to improve oneself in term of skill or experience.

5.Cancellation
5.1In the event that less than 9 teams are registered for the league, the league shall be cancelled.

6.Rules & System
6.1Teams performing neutral(umpiring) are to book courts and supply shuttlers for that match.
6.2There is no restriction on the vence, you can book any courts available in Singapore.
6.3Neutral are to comfrim the venue latest 3 days before the match and inform the teams in that match.
6.3Every teams are to do 8 neutrals in the whole season.
( Pls see the fixture, to know which match you are doing neutral for)
6.4The team that win the match will get 3 points in the table.
6.5The team that lose the match will get 1 points in the table.
6.6The team that walkover* the match will not get any points in the table.
6.7Neutral are to send the result through sms to Sam after the matches, so he can tabulated the result.
6.8If a team is pull out during the league, all previous matches play by that team will be void.

Scoring System
A match consists of the best of 3 games of 21 points.
Every time there is a serve – there is a point scored.
The side winning a rally adds a point to its score.
At 20 all, the side which gains a 2 point lead first, wins that game.
At 29 all, the side scoring the 30th point, wins that game.
The side winning a game serves first in the next game.
If there is any disagreement on the call, the umpire have the final say or reset the point.

Interval and Change of Ends
When the leading score reaches 11 points, players have a 60 second interval.
A 2 minute interval between each game is allowed.
In the third game, players change ends when the leading score reaches 11 points.

*walkover - a team will only consider walkover if they are absent without noticing the neutral.
